End of Hypercon

It was a very tiny convention but I was about to make a little money, very little, hardly any... but then I spent some so my bad.

The table cost $35 and I spent about $40 on little things.
In total I made about $144 I believe, so yeah I did make some money, least I didnt lose any. I only sold 3 prints and to the people that bought them thank you so much! I was really flattered when asked to sign them, I'm sorry my handwriting isnt anything fancy.
Would I do it again? Maybe, as I wont be in San Fran next time so it will depend because if I cant make back enough money it wont be worth it. I spent most of the money on these adorable ToraDora figures. I also got to sit next to a friend of mine so I wasnt too lonely. Today I also got to meet some more people and they all gave me great advice, mostly towards my animation career. Thank you so much, I hope we can keep in touch.

Next weekend is NCC monthly meet up at the ice skating rink. So I'm dressing as a panda, last minute thing Dana suggested I do, lol. Then i October is Anime Destiny which I still am not sure about and Yaoi-con which I really want to go to at least once.

Hypercon day 1

So I got back some hours ago from Hypercon and just now remembered my little blog, I've been so neglectful, not just this blog but my school one as well.
I set off early in the morning to some heavy mist that almost seemed like rain. The cart was a hasty to push around and get on the bus. As I got off at my first top the two front wheels of my cart came off. I pushed on and made it to the con. It would kind of like a community center and we we plus the vendors were in the gym area. The panels and gaming room were elsewhere. I set up quickly, with not a lot to show off and waited around about an hour or more for things to begin. I was lucky enough to sit next to a friend.
I should about 25ish buttons plus 2 prints. It was a bit embrassing to sign them as I think my handwriting is terrible.
I only made about $80, there is no way I'll reach my goal of $250 =( too bad. I left mostly everything there when it was time to lock up. I'm glad I did because the bus back was ridiculously packed! There is no way I would have gotten that cat onto that bus and be able to get it out again. I'm fearful of tomorrow. My only hope is that it wont be very busy because it's Sunday or maybe I can get a ride.
One can pray.

Hypercon Next Weekend

A New anime convention is happening next weekend and I have a table. My buttons should be fully ready but I'm unsure about my prints. Also I wanted to get a few cards made by then but it looks like I wont be able to do that either. There had been trouble with my printer a long time with horizontal lines going through it. I never noticed on text and buttons veyr much because they are so small. It wasnt until I started printing for class. after spending hours online I finally found time to call up Espon. The man who helped me in every way he could think of he said they would send me a new one in 2-7 business days. I gave them my info and credit card, they took a desposite to make sur eI wasnt stealing printers, understandable. Today was day 7 and no sign of the package so I decided to call up espon again and ask for a tracking number. The woman I got said that the logs never indicated that my order had been sent out. So we reordered it. Luckily the man hadnt just taken my credit card info and ran, I checked.

So to make a long story short I dont know if I'll get my printer in time. As a result I wont have Prints. I dont feel like going to Kinkos and spending that kind of money.

I live!

I'm alive really! But sense only a few people know about this blog I'm sure you all knew that.
I havnt gotten much farther on my flaaffy cosplay as the last few weeks before moving back into the school appartments became crazy.
Back up everything on your comp! I cant stress this enough >_< I found out the hard way. But I'm ok after a small panic attack of changing most of the stuff in my comp.

My roommate and I are now paying for our own internet, I wanted to do this a year ago but we never did. Now we both wish we had. It's so nice to have our own fast connection, without worrying about passwords. Also we can hook up our printers and gaming consoles to it. whee!

Did you all see the Miku picture I did? I really want to do a BlackRock Shooter one too but I dont think I have time before Hypercon. I will be having a table there and invite you all to come and see it. I'll be selling my buttons of course and hopefully a few prints (very few).

School is off to a running start. I already have a lot of homework. Of course the first few weeks you got to get back into the groove of school and they ask you to be all super creative.
